“Carolyn’s Treasures Shop is more than the selling of merchandise…it is continuing a legacy.” ~Joseph Lozada
An unparalleled legend in the sales industry, Carolyn Lozada was more than just a sales person, she was an entrepreneur. For over thirty years, Carolyn was one of the top selling performers in a local sales company until she retired. Above all her accomplishments, (and there were many!) she was most proud of her three adult children and her eight grandchildren.
A true Southern from the start, Carolyn Lloyd was born in Phenix City, Alabama on August 14, 1951 to Cleveland and Marie Lloyd. The family resided in Smiths Station and Carolyn would graduate from Smiths Station High School in 1969. After retirement, Carolyn began selling vintage and unique items at flea markets and kiosks. Carolyn was gifted with a good eye at purchasing high quality merchandise that it was of little surprise she became known as the “Football Ring Lady” when she added Super Bowl replica rings to her inventory.
Despite working tirelessly to build her business, Carolyn was a strong advocate for military veterans which included working closely with state and city politicians.
Carolyn Lloyd Lozada passed away on May 8, 2019. Her enduring legacy as a kind southern lady who knew all her customers by name… lives on.
